Upkeeping and revitalizing the places we call home.

In 2018 I began restoring and improving every part of our 1880’s house in Colorado — a three-story Victorian that had been split into four apartments during the 50’s. Due to its age and numerous reconfigurations across 140 years, it was a blend of old and new, deteriorating and fresh. Getting to know the house, solving practical problems and aesthetic conundrums, and implementing repairs that would stand the test of time all became passions. Faucets, fixtures, paint, caulk, toilets, showers, ductwork, woodwork, hardwood flooring, masonry, electrical, plumbing, gardening, irrigation. When friends, family, and community needed things done, I volunteered to do similar projects for them. This was an enveloping hobby while I worked full-time in economic research.

I am following my gladness and interests to build a business around the best aspects: the work, the people, and the opportunities to serve the community. To get things started, I am offering a few services in hopes that the company becomes more established and my reputation grows.

My clients are my business partners. I do my work open, honest, humble, and in good faith. And their homes are their homes, so I remind myself that these are more than jobs — every service or change adds to the story, feel, and legacy of a home and the people it serves.
